Tempers are high! Grace blames Romeo for bringing this mess into their lives. Romeo blames his mother for bringing Lucas into their lives. And he believes they’re just better off as the duo.
Once bitten, twice shy. When Grace is about to leave, Romeo asks how much Layla knows about Lucas’ scams. Calmly, she tells him not to worry about Layla as she’s already spoken with her. Grace believes Layla is the only person they can trust. Romeo believes otherwise.
Layla may not have been part of Lucas’ scam, but she’s guilty of keeping the truth from her friend.
