Any woman who’s had her husband taken away by another woman, will always tell you how hard it is not to be disgusted by the other woman.
This has been the case for Gloria. She’s always hated Portia with all her being. But, when she broke down to Gontse, it felt like she had unleashed all that anger. She even agreed to Portia attending Gontse’s wedding.

Our thoughts were wrong. The moment Portia walks into Gontse’s bridal shower, Gloria is nauseated and exasperated. When Portia tries to hug her, she pushes her away and walks out of the door.
Maletsatsi offers to talk to her. Immediately, Gloria lashes out, saying she doesn’t want Portia around. Gloria doesn’t even understand why she has to be nice to her, when Portia is the one who stole Abel.
Maletsatsi manages to calm her down and she agrees to go back to the party. At what cost? Maletsatsi has to agree to mend her friendship with Gloria.
