Rhythm City’sDavid Genaro is a free man leaving the orange uniform and prison food behind him. He returns without his wealth, but his hunger for power persists. What game is he playing at?
Genaro’s arrest was the beginning of his plan to retrieve his assets that were taken away from him by the BK group, a group he is now the leader of.
Comfortable and unsuspecting, Hermanus and Naomi were shocked when they discovered that David was due for release and was a step ahead of them when they tried spilling the beans about the BK group. Naomi has since threatened David with his son Quinton while Hermanus is on the run...
Here's a look back at the events that lead David to where he is now:
Last December, the mighty David Genaro was arrested for the murder of nanny Elizabeth.
David tried to frame Naomi as the murderer. He later requests Miles to play the murder tape exposing him as the killer to get him behind bars.
Once incarcerated, David immediately begins executing his plan to regain some of his lost power, he gets closer to the then BK leader, George.
A few months later he makes his first big move - Duiwel is killed and David becomes second in command.
David charms Dr. Ongers and convinces her to help him poison George.
George is poisoned and paralysed, leaving David to assume the title of BK leader.
But, even though he is BK leader, he is still behind bars. To help him get his freedom, he confesses to the NPA about the dealings of the BK group.
David is granted immunity.
Naomi hears about David's possible release and threatens him using his son. She’s manipulated her way into Gail and Quinton's life.
Days before David's release, his enemy, Miles, approaches him for help to get Redemption back.
