If you missed the SA’s Got Talent finale last night, you REALLY missed out! But as usual we’ve got your back.
SA’s Got Talent has come to an end with Kryptonite Dance Academy crowned as the winners for 2016.
These were our favourite moments from the spectacular finale:
1.Everybody was dressed for success
We saw the #SAGT contestants like we’ve never seen them before. Everyone was dressed to the nines! Phoenix stood out in a gorgeous black sequenced dress, Derek looked dapper in a suit, Jesse looked superb in an ‘all black err’ thang’, Manila was in a very sexy golden number, The Professionals looked cool in two piece suits and Kryptonite Dance Academy looked fantastic in black suits.
2.The performances blew us away
We were never ready for the performances, fam! All the contestants brought their A game, so much so that it was very difficult to pick a favourite. This year, SA’s Got Talent took variety show to a whole new level! There was a drag artist, singers, modern pantsula dancers and hip hop dancers. And they were all brilliant!
3.Mo kept us laughing
If there’s one thing that our #SAGT host can do very well, it’s make us laugh. With so much tension on the #SAGTFinale stage, Mo made sure that the contestants and the viewers chuckled every now and then. We loved how he poked fun at everyone from the audience to the judges and contestants – no one was off limits.
4.Kwesta’s guest performance was lit!
Kwesta never disappoints when he gets on stage, and last night was no different. The hip hop artist had us on our feet when he performed his latest single 'Chankura'.
5.Kryptonite Dance Academy brought the house down!
This had to be the highlight of the night! Kryptonite Dance Academy were in it to win it – And they did! We saw everything from money flying in the air to fire on stage! Kryptonite brought a whole new meaning to ‘Turn Down For What?’ Their performance set social media alight and got the SAGT crowd on their feet!
Their epic performance earned them the most public votes and they were deservedly crowned the winners of SA’s Got Talent 2016! The dance crew walked away with a whopping R500 000.
Well done guys!
