Poor Bongi! As if losing her fiancé is not enough, now she’s being blamed for his death. Rhythm City, weekdays at 7PM.
Just moments after her fiance’s body was wheeled out of her home, the detectives bombarded Bongi with questions. They wanted to know exactly what happened before Doc died.
An emotional Bongi tries to explain, but she’s still feeling overwhelmed and struggles to speak. Niki asks the detectives to give her some space.
After some time the detective returns with more questions. Bongi is shocked to find out that she’s a suspect, because Doc died in a terrible accident!
Bongi’s own daughter also doubts her innocence. Why would she hurt Doc to save Lerato? She hates Lerato! Bongi tries to explain to Zinzi, but she just runs off.

Bongi is very emotional and alone and turns to alcohol to cope.
Meanwhile, Lerato is mourning Doc. She says he was the only man she’s ever loved and has a small celebration at Red Records to honour him. She’s clearly devastated and even questions the part she played in his death.
