1. Masasa Mbangeni leaving Scandal!
Masasa, who played the role of the malicious Thembeka Shezi-Nyathi, decided to call it quits after five long years on the soapie. Fans were sad to see her go, but she decided it’s time to pursue other opportunities in the theatre and movie industries.
2. Quinton knows about the baby
So Thembeka tricked Quinton into believing that she was pregnant with his child - this after she suffered a miscarriage tjo! She managed to pull off the charade for quite some time before Quinton eventually found out. She went as far as sending him pics of her “fake” bump. She also desperately tried to adopt a baby with the hopes that Quinton would never find out about her miscarriage. But just as fate would have it, Quinton ran into Thembeka’s doctor one night and she spilled the beans. This one definitely didn’t end well for Thembeka!
3. Connie Chiume talks Rhythm City exit
After nine years of playing Kete on Rhythm City– Connie Chiume said her goodbyes. During an emotional interview, she spoke about her best moments on the show and the storylines she enjoyed portraying the most. She could relate to Mamokete, especially as a mother.
4. 10 Things you didn’t know about DJ Black Coffee
The multi-award winning deejay was featured on Nicky Greenwall’s show Screentime back in 2013. And because he’s such a successful DJ and producer we thought it would be interesting to find 10 facts about him. Little did we know that this article would make our “most read” list year after year!
5. Kgomotso Christopher joins Scandal!
The popular local actress made her debut on Scandal! in June. She plays the role of calculating, manipulative Yvonne Thebe (Hector’s ex-wife and Naledi’s mother). She’s a high class kept woman who targets men to get them to look after her, but she doesn't necessarily give them anything in return. So she strings them along and keeps them thinking that they may get a pay-off one day.
