Jamal and Lucious are still at each other about the awards, and Andre discovers that his grandmother might still be alive! #Empire 9:30PM.
This week it’s all about the ASA’s on Empire as father and son battle it out for the top award. Will Jamal and Lucious’ relationship be ruined over this?
At the same time, the Lyon’s need to make sure the board reinstates one of them as CEO. So Andre comes up with a brilliant idea to create the illusion of a united front. He proposes they host a charity event in aid of people with mental illness, which will strengthen Lucious’ music video and show the family in a favourable light.
But, the journalist who’s been following Lucious around ruins the party right before he and Andre were meant to give a speech together.
She’s scorned after Lucious rejects her advances and defends Cookie. She hands Andre an envelope full of photos, one of them is his grandmother she claims.
Andre rushes off! Could this really be Lucious’ mother?
If it is, Lucious lied about his mother shooting herself in front of him and the whole music video is fabricated.
Or could there be another explanation?
