The 11th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) took place in Sun City on Saturday and we won BIG!
These are our top favourite moments from the ceremony:
1. Warren Masemola finally got the recognition he deserves when he won the SAFTA for Best Supporting Actor in TV Drama for his role as Cosatu on Heist.
2. HeistScooped a whopping 5 out of the 9 SAFTAs they were nominated for including the SAFTA for Best TV Drama.
3. Ntate Jerry Mofokeng won the SAFTA for Best Actor in TV Drama for his role as Talent in Heist.
4. Tina Jaxa won the SAFTA for Best Actress in TV Soap/Telenovela for her role as May in Gold Diggersbut unfortunately she wasn’t there to accept her award.

5. Mandla Gaduka won the SAFTA for Best Supporting Actor in TV Soap/Telenovela for his role as Damian in Ashes To Ashes.
