Following the affair with Thembeka, Quinton broke up with long-time girlfriend Ruby. Poor girl. But Ruby didn't take the news too well. She headed straight to the newsroom and slapped Thembeka for stealing her man.
Meanwhile, Layla returned to South Africa to confront Daniel about the anguish he had caused her family. But her bravery didn't get her anywhere. She ended up being drugged and stuffed in the boot of a car.
