Ellen learns more about Duncan after overhearing a private phone call with his daughter, Sawyer. She goes to his daughter’s school and speaks to her, where she discovers that Duncan is FBI.
Duncan orders Ellen to convince the president not to use another surgeon. Knowing that’s the only way to keep her family alive, she speaks to the president and tries to convince him and his wife to stick with her.
Jake is confronted by Nico, the drug-dealer who wants his money. To teach Jake a lesson, he beats him up. Kramer struggles not to get involved.
