Thursdays are never going to be the same again as Greenleaf comes to e.tv! The show premieres on Thursday, 21 June at 8:30PM.

Here’s why you MUST tune in:

1. You’ll be the first to see it on e

Greenleaf hasn’t aired on any Mzansi channel yet, so you’re going to be the first to see it on Thursday at 8:30PM!

2. Oprah Winfrey is the executive producer of the show!

Not only is the queen of television at the helm of this production, but she also has a small role in it. Mama O also produces Queen Sugar and if that’s anything to go by… Greenleaf is going to be packed with everything we love in good drama.

3. It’s an award-winning show

Greenleaf has been nominated for many awards. Lynn Whitfield won Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Drama) at the Gracie Awards last year and the show’s soundtrack won Outstanding Gospel/Christian Album at the NAACP image awards earlier this year.

4. The cast is amazing

The stellar cast includes big names like Lynn Whitfield, Merle Dandridge and Desiree Ross. And if that’s not enough to get excited, the series was created by Craig Wright, the same person who wrote Lost and Six Feet Under.

5. The series kicks off with a bang!

We’ve seen the first episode and we’re already hooked! Grace Greenleaf, played by Merle Dandridge, returns home after the death of her sister. Her father, played by Keith David, is a bishop at a huge church in Memphis. Life gets complicated when Grace learns disturbing details about her family and her sister’s death.

Set your reminders! You don’t want to miss the premiere of #Greenleaf on Thursday at 8:30PM.
