Natasha Thahane will grace the screens of Imbewu: The Seed on Friday, 25th of January at 9:30PM.
Thahane will play the role of Liyana Luthuli, a young woman set to bring comfort to the Bhengu household, following the death of their eldest son, Nganono.
Liyana Luthuli is an ex-girlfriend to Zithulele whom he dated back in High school. She re-enters our world after the death of Nganono to offer her condolences to Zithulele.
Zithulele learns that instead of Liyana wanting to rekindle their relationship, she’s actually seeking employment.
Feeling a sense of nostalgia, Zithumele attempts to pursue a romantic relationship with Liyana, again. But, the only problem is that she’s dating Mnyamane.
Elegant and beautiful, Liyana was raised by her father as this meant better opportunities for her, while her mother lived in a shared women’s hostel.
Liyana is a beauty with brains and she holds a degree in Law, but like many young South Africans, she’s been struggling to find employment.
Will Zithulele come between her and Mnyamane?
