e.tv and eNCA will broadcast live the State of The Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday, 13 February 2014 at 7PM.
eNCA will be at Parliment covering the build-up to the event throughout the day. The State of the Nation Special will be anchored by Iman Rappetti and Andrew Barnes from 4PM until 6:15PM. The opening of Parliament will then be broadcast live on eNCA. Follwing President Jacob Zuma's SONA address, there will be a detailed expert analysis, as well as reactions from the public, politicians and pundits.
To accommodate this event, normal programming on e.tv will be affected. However viewers can still catch their favourite drama programmes such as Rhythm City and Scandal! in different time slots.
Programmes Changes:
• eNews Late Edition will be replaced by Rhythm City at 6PM.
• Scandal! is scheduled to play an hour earlier at 6:30PM
• eNews Prime Time will be replaced by eNCA Specials: The State of The Nation Address from 7PM until 8:30PM
• Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola scheduled at 8PM will be dropped from the schedule.
• Normal programming will resume at 8:30PM with the movie Rachel Getting Married.
