Niki and Suffocate grow further apart. David wonders whether Thandeka genuinely confided in him and tasks Jimmy with finding out. A secretive Doc and Solomon are vehemently opposed to the history of Thandeka’s father coming out. Fats is shocked to discover that Jamaica is his new competition.

David urges Thandeka to meet her biological father but doing so means doubting Doc and everything he ever told her. Fats hires a new hairdresser and Themba comes up with a story about why he wanted to leave in the first place, and this places him at odds with Niki.

Thandeka meets her ‘father’ for the first time. Niki thanks Themba for his discretion and makes it clear nothing is going to happen again. Despite the loss of Jamaica, Fats tries to keep the deal with Zahr from falling through.
