Daniel is tasered into unconsciousness and kidnapped by Cain. But how did Daniel not see this coming?
- Earlier in the week Cain sends Daniel a message under the pretext of a Switzerland company that had business interests in NFH.
- Daniel receives the message and discusses it with his wife Shakira who encourages him to show interest because it could be a lucrative deal.
- Daniel responds to Swiss Media Collective saying he is interested in doing business with them.
- The day of Daniel’s kidnapping, Cain calls Shakira and sets up a date with her. He is sorry about Mo and she didn’t mean anything, he assures her
- Desperate to make Daniel jealous especially after he took his mistress Precious on holiday just a few weeks ago, Shakira is delighted that Cain is giving her attention again. She decides to meet him at Cole’s.
- As soon as Shakira leaves for her date, Daniel googles Swiss Media Collective, but he finds no results.
- While googling, he hears the sound of a key at the door but doesn’t pay attention to it – he thinks it’s Shakira. She must have forgotten something.
- But to his surprise, it turns out it’s his cousin Cain…or the real Daniel as he is now known.
- Daniel comes face-to-face with his past, but before he can react, Cain tasers him into unconsciousness
- Cain then takes his phone and smses all the relevant people to say that Daniel is away on business. Remember, Daniel already discussed this business opportunity with Shakira? So Shakira is not alarmed when she learns he’s left the country to pursue it.
- Everyone thinks Daniel has gone on a business trip; meanwhile Cain has him locked up in a basement in an abandoned building in the city.
Clearly, Cain has been watching Daniel for a long time. Will Daniel survive this ordeal? Or is it time for him to pay for his sins?
