Popular local actress Kgomotso Christopher has joined the cast of Scandal!
Christopher will play the role of calculating, manipulative Yvonne Thebe (Hector’s ex-wife and Naledi’s mother) a Sotho speaking woman in her 40s.
According to Scandal!producer, Ilse van Hemert, Yvonne comes across as a seductive, sweet, loving mother who was wronged, made mistakes in her life and is hoping for forgiveness.
Behind her façade, Yvonne is really a high class kept woman who targets men to get them to look after her, but she doesn't necessarily give them anything back. She strings them along and keeps them thinking that they may get a pay-off one day.
Christopher is set to make her first appearance as Yvonne Thebe on Scandal! in late June.
