5 Ways Lu Can Ease Her Heartbreak
Poor Lucilla! How will she get over being dumped by DH?
Lu’s quest to find love hasn’t been so great. Her marriage to Miles ended and her relationship with David Genaro was not that fulfilling. Loneliness once led Lu to bed S’fiso.
But then just as she was ready to give up on love, DH arrived offering her all the things that her heart yearned for. He surprised her with a wine picnic, played the saxophone for her, and even flew her to another country for lunch! But all of that has now ended.
Heartbreak is never easy and can be a confusing time so we prepared a list of things we think can help Lu get over DH.
1. Dial a friend
In times of emergency, dial a friend. Instead of soaking herself in tears or drunk-dialling DH, Lu should call Gail and cry it out. Gail understands Lu’s past heartaches and failed relationships and how much she wanted the relationship with DH to work.
2. Spend time with Buhle
It’s been a while since Lu spent quality time with her son. A child’s laughter and a simple act like watching them play can help put a smile back on Lu’s face. Kids are carefree and bubbly and can remind you of life’s simple pleasures.
3. Get back in studio
UK singer Adele is proof that a failed relationship can spurn something good. Her breakup CD, 21, sold millions of copies and made her super famous and rich. Instead of crying about it, Lu should hit the studio and put all those emotions into sounds. Who knows what can happen?
4. Go on holiday
A holiday is a great form of escapism and getting some “me” time. A holiday can help Lu recharge and restore her energy levels. Time away from everything will offer her some time to reflect on what she wants in life and how to achieve this. Sticking around could delay the process of moving on from DH as everything around her will remind her of DH.
5. Invest more time in her career
Now that Lu has some free time, she should invest more time in her career. It’s no doubt that Lu loves her work so she should focus on the radio station, Nine9, and how she can take it to newer heights.

5 Cool Things about Rosario Dawson
Rosario stars in The First 20 Million Is Always the Hardest on Saturday 22nd Feb at 9:55PM.
Rosario Dawson is not your average Hollywood starlet. Here are five things we love about the 35-year-old actress.
1. She didn't grow up rich.
Rosario lived with her young mother, Isabel (A Puerto Rican/Afro-Cuban struggling singer) and baby-brother, Clay Dawson, in a “squatter’s apartment” in the East Side ghettos of New York City.
2. She was a compassionate child.
A close family friend, Uncle Frank, contracted HIV when Rasario was 7 years old. She shared her food with him and stayed close to him throughout his illness.
3. She was discovered by chance.
At 16, Rosario was sitting on a porch in her neighbourhood when aspiring screenwriter Harmony Korine spotted her. Korine thought she’d be perfect for her feature film, Kids, which became Dawson’s first role and subsequent rise to fame.
4. She's a huge Star Trek fan.
She even speaks broken Klingon, the made-up Star Trek language!
5. She owns her own production company called Trybe.
In 2007 she released the film, Descent, about a college student who is brutally raped and struggles alone to rebuild her life.

Ngcobo Brothers: Will They Survive or Perish?
They’ve been through hell and back. Will their relationship recover from this? We chat to Scandal actor Siyabonga Shibe about Kila’s quest to save his brother.
When his brother Ndumiso came to Joburg, he looked up to Kila. Naturally, when Ndumiso got into trouble, Kila wanted to do everything to protect him. However, it was very important for him to do everything by the book and not get into trouble. But when his criminal record resurfaced it gave Daniel the opportunity to recruit Kila back into his stable.
Kila tried to hide the criminal record from his brother because he’s always telling him not to take short cuts. When the truth about his criminal record came out his brother was very disappointed in him and it caused friction between the two because it showed him Kila doesn’t practice what he preaches.
Kila tried by all means to make amends with his brother and to show him it was beyond his control.
In the last couple of weeks he’s had to do shady things in order to save his brother. Will he resent his brother for dragging him back into the underworld or will their relationship survive this?
We chat to Siyabonga Shibe about his past and saving his brother.
How did Kila end up with a criminal record?
It came with Daniel’s betrayal. Daniel had to save himself from being arrested and haunted by the loan shark business. Kila was his sidekick. They were in trouble and Kila ended up being the fall guy and Daniel was orchestrating the whole thing.
How did this affect his relationship with Daniel?
It created friction. He had to do the groundwork because he wanted to earn Daniel’s trust and respect. He wanted to get into business so he can be respected. That’s what he was looking for.
How did he turn his life around when he stopped being Daniel’s associate?
When Kila got separated from Daniel he wanted to stand up on his own. He repented. He wanted to do good. He now co-owns Safe ‘n Clean and he wants to be a proud father and be a good role model to his son and brother.
Why is he so hard on Ndumiso?
He doesn’t want his brother to make the same mistakes he did. Ndumiso follows in his footsteps so he’s trying to teach him about honesty and loyalty. He wants the best for him that’s why he’s very harsh.
How does he feel about bailing out Ndumiso?
It’s a decision he had to make. If he had to tap into his criminal side he would do it. He would do anything to save his brother; he’s his brother’s keeper. He takes things seriously and he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt. His family comes first. But now he ends up hurting his business partners. They’re now starting to doubt him and whether he has changed. His past has come back to haunt him. But it also hurts that he constantly has to bail his brother out because he wants him to be more independent and to do things for himself.
The Ngcobo brothers are in a bad situation, will they survive this?
They say blood is thicker than water. Will they triumph or will they deceive each other; that’s the question that lingers in the storyline. As a responsible brother, Kila feels obliged to protect his brother. But now his brother is becoming rebellious because he knows Kila’s dodgy past. Will they resolve or will they go their separate ways?
Catch Kila and Ndumiso on Scandal Monday to Friday at 7:30PM. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for more updates.
