The gorgeous Club 808 presenter will make her debut on Rhythm City on Monday, 10 April. Rhythm City, weekdays at 7PM.
Yep, you read that right - Boity has joined the Rhythm City cast! She plays a character named Luscious Lu, a feisty radio presenter who takes her job very seriously. She oozes confidence and intimidates other women by just walking into the room.
Boity believes her fans will see a very different side of her through this role.
“I’ve always played sweet, innocent characters that people assume I am,” she says. “This character is going to allow me to show people that I also have a bitchy side, just like everyone else.”
Speaking on the biggest challenge she foresees with this role she says: “I’ve never worked with a lot of the actors on Rhythm City so this is going to be a whole new space for me. I also feel like I haven’t acted in a while so I have to work extra hard to be ultra-prepared.”
We cannot wait to see what Boity brings to Rhythm City. We have a feeling it’s going to keep us glued to our screens!
