The first step to winning SA’s Got Talent is surviving the audition phase.

You're talented, you're prepared, you got your act down and you're feeling confident. Don't get blind-sided on audition day; here are a few tips on how to get through the day.

Auditions are starting in Durban on Saturday 18th May, before moving to Johannesburg on 25th May, and finally Cape Town on 1 June. Click here for all the audition details.

1.  It’s going to be a very long day, so bring some food, something to drink, and some money. Beverages and food will be on sale at all the audition venues.

2. Come dressed in whatever you’ll be wearing for your audition. Our cameras will be there, so dress to impress and stand out in the crowd!

3. If you’re singing or dancing (or both), you MUST bring a backing track on a CD.

4. Bring props if you need them for your audition.

5. Bring your friends and family along for support and to keep you company while you wait. But remember they won’t be allowed into the audition room.

6.  Get there early and prepare to spend the whole day at the auditions. This is your dream and it’s worth the wait!

7. Bring your talent, your confidence and know you got this!

Good luck!
