You’ll be surprised to know which artists helped out on Bey’s new album.
We bet you didn’t know these artists were heavily involved in Beyonce’s new album that near broke the internet when she dropped the entire 14 track album (including 17 videos) on iTunes late last year. Not even a tweet to warn us.
So now that we’ve regained consciousness after that head-spin, we give you the rundown of artists who worked on the album with her. Yes, even Queen B needs help.
Here’s how everyone contributed to the album:
1. The Dream came up with the name “Yonce” and produced most of the album.
2. Justin Timberlake: The beat you hear on the “Yonce” track is actually Justin beating on a bucket.
3. Justin Timberlake also wrote “Partition,” which is a little creepy because it’s so sultry and clearly about Jay-Z.
4. Miguel wrote “Rocket,” the track with the most sexual innuendos. Can’t say we’re surprised, how many drinks, Mig?
5. Pharrell Williams supplied the awesome beat and lyrics of “Blow” and helped write “Superpower” which features Frank Ocean. No wonder it’s the two funkiest tracks on the album.
6. Sia Furler, the talented Australian down-tempo artist wrote “Pretty Hurts.” Sia also writes for Rihanna and Katy Perry.
