Sasha’s sting operation goes horribly wrong. We review last night’s episode.
Eddie and Sasha thought they were way ahead of Graham, but they were wrong. They teamed up with detective Cohen to lure Graham to his next victim, Sasha, here’s what happened.
The plan
Sasha was supposed to meet Graham for their “date” at a hotel room at the Newtonian. Eddie and the police would be in the next room listening to their conversation. Graham and Sasha’s room had been wired for sound and Sasha was given a panic button. Just to be safe, she also had a gun tucked in her bag which Eddie didn’t know about. The idea was to wait for Graham to reveal himself as the killer, and then the cops would swoop in and arrest him before he could harm Sasha. Sounds easy right?
The plan gone wrong
After Eddie gives Sasha the go ahead, she leaves the newsroom to meet Graham at the Newtonian as planned. But to her surprise she runs into Graham in the NFH car park. Terrified, she asks him why he’s not at the hotel. Graham says he thought it would be nicer if they left together, trying to hide her fear, Sasha agrees. But as she turns around to get into the car, Graham grabs her from behind and injects something into her neck with a syringe. Sasha is slumped into unconsciousness and stuffed into the boot of her car and driven off!
Later, Sasha wakes in Graham’s cottage – gagged and tied up. To her horror, she sees the creepy collage on the wall. Watching over her, Graham says, “Hello, my princess. I think it’s time to take this relationship to the next level.”
Meanwhile, back at the Newtonian Eddie wonders why Sasha hasn’t arrived. What’s taking her so long? Something is amiss. He tries calling her, but her phone goes straight to voicemail…
