SA’s Got Talent 2015 finalist, and first ever Golden Buzzer star, 13-year-old music sensation Henno William has been signed by a New York-based music executive.
Music mogul Kevin Liles will accelerate William’s career over the next 12 months, working with a team of music producers, songwriters, tastemakers and PR experts to launch the young singer-songwriter in the United States and internationally.
“This is so epic,” explains Henno, who has released his debut single, Beauty Queen, two months ago. “They just saw my Beauty Queen music video on YouTube, and were so impressed that they reached out to us.”
Henno will travel to New York and Los Angeles a few times over the next months until his family is ready to relocate to the USA, which will probably happen in mid-2017. Henno will still be available to perform at festivals and on special occasions in South Africa within the next year.
Artists currently managed by Liles include, amongst others, D’Angelo, Trey Songz, Fetty Wap and Highly Suspect.
