My wedding day has finally arrived irrespective of all the trials with Obakeng’s mother. She hasn’t given us her blessing and she will not be attending the wedding.
On the other hand there's Abel; the only man I've ever known. The father of my children finally came back to fight for me after all my efforts of trying to take him back from Portia. It was a tough decision I had to make, whether to take back the devil. I knew going back to living like a brother and sister would have made my children happy. But I chose something new; getting married. I’m so excited.
This is the beginning of a new chapter in my life with a man who truly loves me, a man who puts me first in his life. The next twenty years are going to be great; more loving and getting to know each other. I’m looking forward to a life with someone who is spontaneous, something which is different to what I’m used to. It's all I've ever dreamed of and wished for. I’m getting married to the sweetest and most loving man I know.
I can finally breathe because my husband-to-be chose me over his mother who’s been against our marriage from the onset. I finally get to wear that white dress I've longed for. I mean really I've been with Abel for 20 years and he never bothered to pay lobola, at the very least.

I won’t forget those two crooks, my two aunties, who stole my lobola money and on top of that only one of them was really my relative. They have the nerve to show their faces at my wedding!
Anyway, it paid off trusting and appointing my daughter to plan my whole wedding. You should see the marquee. It is breathtaking! It looks like it was done by a professional. I'm glad I gave her that opportunity because it sealed any cracks of doubt she had about Obakeng. It proved to her that she comes first in my life and in return she gave us her blessing!
