Mangi confronted Naledi and Thembeka’s PC got confiscated

Mangi asked Naledi to explain the photo of her with Hector and the police arrived at NFH to confiscate Thembeka’s computer. Scandal!, weekdays at 7:30PM.

On Tuesday, Dintle found a picture of Hector and Naledi hidden inside a fashion book at Hector’s house. Instead of asking Hector about it, Mangi met Naledi at Cole’s where he showed her the picture. A startled Naledi lied and said she’s Hector’s ex-wife, but couldn’t disclose it because she signed a confidentiality agreement. Afterwards Naledi called Hector to fill him in.

Will Mangi’s suspicions of Hector die down?

Meanwhile, Thembeka seems to be sinking deeper into trouble following police interviews with Layla and Kitso. Layla was adamant that she gave Thembeka two earrings on her wedding day and Kitso told Lerumo that she caught Thembeka Googling bodies in dams. This prompted Lerumo to arrive at NFH with a warrant to confiscate Thembeka’s computer.

Will the police find incriminating evidence against Thembeka?

Close call for Scelo and Phumla

Scelo and Phumla were shocked when Zinzile walked in unannounced. Scandal!, weekdays at 7:30PM

Scelo arrived at Phumla’s shop unannounced yet again! This prompted Phumla to lay some ground rules in order to avoid their families finding out about their thing. Phumla also told Scelo they should delete SMSes they send to each other and that Scelo should never come to the shop unannounced. Scelo apologised and they had sex.

When Scelo and Phumla were done, someone walked into the shop and, to Scelo’s horror, it was his mother, Zinzile. Phumla immediately attended to Zinzile while Scelo remained hidden in the changing room. Phumla tried to hint that she was busy, but Zinzile asked to try on a dress and as she was on her way to the changing room (where Scelo was still hiding) Phumla stopped her and gave her the dress for free instead.

[New show] The Book of Negroes

The Book of Negroes is a mini-series that tells the story of Aminata Diallo, a young girl forcefully brought to slavery at the time of the American Revolution.

The Book of Negroes premieres on Monday, 2 May at 8:30PM.

In 1750, 11-year-old Aminata Diallo is abducted from her village in West Africa, placed in shackles and sent across the ocean to be sold into slavery on a South Carolina plantation. She survives the extreme hardship of her situation by using midwifery skills learned at her mother’s side and by drawing on the strength of character inherited from her parents. She even finds love with Chekura, a fellow slave from West Africa.

But Aminata remains trapped, and when her first baby is brutally abducted and sold by her jealous slave master, she vows to return to her homeland some day. This gripping series follows her harrowing journey to freedom.

The series was filmed in South Africa and Canada and also stars Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and local stars Atandwa Kani, Aubrey Poo and Jerry Mofokeng. The Book of Negroes took home no less than nine awards at the 2016 Canadian Screen Awards.

Tuesday
Kop enters a deep depression. Tensions escalate between Stone, Tshidi and Rene as everyone battles to champion their ideas for what Kop should do with his life.

Wednesday
Tshidi asks Suffocate to make Stone’s problems with the law go away.  The siblings struggle through the tensions that have arisen from having lived such different lives these last few years.

Thursday
David is thrilled when Brenda reveals to him that Solomon is very taken with her. David acts out and disrupts Zer011.

Friday
David threatens Dolly and warns her not to double-cross him.

Monday
Selo joins MaKhoza at Kgosi’s restaurant to relieve his stress. Mpho has a strange dream about Tsietsi. Tsietsi is strengthening himself with Nkomonde's muti. Tsietsi sends Mpho a gift for the baby and Stitch announces his resignation.

Tuesday
Selo announces the family will do a cleansing ritual. General Modise finds out about Selo's bribe which will affect the military contract. Damian and Violet start looking for people to interview for the mortician position. Nkonzo approaches Buzwe and tries to discourage him from taking Tsietsi's case.

Wednesday
The Namanes butt heads as they prepare for the family ceremony. Selo's financial decisions come back to haunt him. Nkonzo ignores his suspension and goes back on the hunt for Tsietsi.

Thursday
Tsietsi tries to entice Buzwe with money to represent him. Tsietsi tells the papers about Nkonzo's suspension. Nokulunga comes to the cleansing on behalf of Tsietsi. The Biyela’s want the Namanes to pay back the money.

Friday
Mpho goes to lay flowers on Monwabisi's grave. Mandlakazi meets Buzwe and likes him. Nkonzo pushes Buzwe the wrong way and he punches him.

Thembeka is arrested, Scelo gets a love letter from Mary and Gontse asks for her old job back. Scandal!, weekdays at 7:30PM

Monday
Thembeka is confronted with proof which could mean that her life is about to change forever. Mary chickens out of revealing her feelings but reveals some distressing information. Gontse feels compelled to make a decision which she is not at all happy about.

Tuesday
Someone throws a former ally under the bus and a shocking arrest is made in public. Mary writes an anonymous letter and her mother refutes an accusation. Lindiwe's disappointment causes a neighbour to step in to save the day.

This is what happened last week on Scandal!

Wednesday
The words which Lucas has been longing to hear are spoken by someone he is trying to get close to, and Thembeka has to consider an extremely worrying possibility. A letter causes a misunderstanding which leads to false hope. Gontse scores a hit, but it could be too little too late.

Thursday
Thembeka allows herself to feel some hope but has to contend with someone's wavering faith in her. Gontse receives some encouragement but Gloria is on the receiving end of some admonishment.

Friday
Mangi finds out that he has something in common with a dead person and Thembeka pushes for an ordeal to happen sooner rather than later. Scelo makes a mortifying discovery. Gloria makes a promise which surprises Gontse and Ndumiso.

Gloria unintentionally sinks Thembeka

Gloria gave the police serious evidence against Thembeka, when she showed Lerumo a photo of Thembeka wearing both earrings. Scandal!, weekdays at 7:30PM

On Friday, Lerumo arrived at NFH and spotted an exhausted Gloria at reception. He asked if she could help with his investigation and an oblivious Gloria happily obliged. Lerumo asked Gloria if she saw anything suspicious on the day since she was one of the bridesmaids but Gloria said if anyone was guilty of anything it’s Audrey, not Thembeka. Lerumo asked Gloria if she took any pictures of the bride on the day and while looking through them on her cellphone Lerumo saw a picture of Thembeka wearing both the earrings Layla lent to her for her something borrowed.

This came in handy for Lerumo because Thembeka previously denied wearing both earring on the day and blamed Audrey for losing the other one. Lerumo immediately took Gloria’s phone in as evidence. Back at the station, Lerumo showed Owen the evidence. The pair concluded that Thembeka was lying and it was time they extend another invitation to Thembeka and her counsel. What will it be?

Thembeka was caught in a lie when Lerumo showed a picture of her wearing both earrings. Scandal!, weekdays at 7:30PM

Last night, Gloria tried to warn Thembeka after she unintentionally gave Lerumo damning evidence against her via a cellphone pic showing Thembeka wearing both earrings on her wedding day - something Thembeka has been denying profusely.

When Thembeka arrived at the police station for her interrogation, Javas accidentally showed her into the same room Audrey was being questioned in. Thembeka caused a big scene and accused Audrey of being a blackmailing murderer.

However that was nothing compared to what awaited Thembeka when Lerumo confronted her with proof that she lied about only wearing one earring on her wedding day. For once, Thembeka was speechless and her lawyer Arrad warned her that being caught in a lie wasn’t good for her.

The Alliance depicts the life of popular kingpin Bra Jay, also known as the Reserve Bank Governor of Soweto. Bra Jay has a thirst for power and rules those around him with an iron fist.

He’s a businessman who is always involved in shady dealings. Bra Jay arouses aversion and incites affection amongst his family and community. And he also has unlimited access to the law.

The seventh season of SA's Got Talent welcomes its new host, Mongezi 'Mo' Mahlangu. Mo is known for his eccentric comedy and lovable persona. And he’ll bring an exciting element to the country's most-watched talent search show!

Contestants with any act at any age still have the opportunity to register for the pre-auditions before they kick off this weekend in Cape Town. Contestants who live outside the Western Cape, Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal provinces can enter via an online video submission. Online pre-auditions can be submitted before the 31st of May 2016.
